At Regent, our site meets the standards for HSC/PAC 596 Field Experience (full‐semester, supervised practicum integrating coursework & ministry contexts).
Old Dominion undergrad Human Services (HMSV 468 Internship), we fulfill the 400‐hour field placement with direct client services, supervision, and evaluation required for graduation.
The Relationship Clinic meets all of Regent University’s HSC/PAC 596 requirements for a field placements—both in person and via telehealth if needed—where you can integrate coursework in helping skills, ethics, and human services with real-world client care. We provide excellent mentorship, evaluations, and opportunities aligned with Regent’s Christian, evidence-informed pastoral counseling and human services criteria.

Our curriculum blends evidence-based coaching practices with biblical foundations and hands-on mentoring. Choose from specialty tracks such as marriage coaching, men’s recovery, foster care support, divorce care, and betrayal trauma. Our approach is both psychologically informed and scripturally sound, blending evidence-based counseling methods with timeless biblical wisdom. Trainees gain practical skills, mentorship, and hands-on experience that prepare them to counsel effectively in church, ministry, and community settings. Our proven methodologies help leaders, pastors, and lay counselors foster lasting change and spiritual growth.
